Classic Munich Helles 4.7%
With nothing to hide behind, this classic German-style pale lager is clean, malty, and slightly bitter, with a subtle, slightly spicy and floral aroma. A truly refreshing, every-day premium lager.
Crisp Blonde Ale 4.5%
Our Urban Ale is brewed with a delicate balance of Australian and International hops. A select choice of barley and wheat malts provide light honey and biscuit notes with a soft, relaxed mouthfeel. We ferment it colder than a typical ale, resulting in a crisp, clean finish.
Aussie Pale Ale 4.5%
Like a true Slapshot, this beer hits the mark. Moderately bitter, with an inviting aroma of citrus, mango, passionfruit and pine. Urban Alley – making beer sustainably right on the city’s doorstep.
Crisp Session Ale 3.5%
A truly refreshing and crisp session ale with a mild fruity hop presence. A mashup of barley, wheat and oat malts provides a soft and full flavour balanced by a touch of bitterness in the finish. An all day, all night beer.
Red Rye IPA 6.4%
You love this the first time so here it is again. A blend of caramelised specialty malts from New Zealand with American and Australian hops present a full body with bold and fruity bitterness. Finishing with strong notes of pine, stone fruit, blackcurrant and a hint of spice from malted rye.
Raspberry Wheat Ale 5.3%
Raspberries and rye blend nicely for a sweet and spicy finish. This beer pours with a slight haze and has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel that is typical of wheat beers.
Smoked Amber Lager 5.6%
There are few moments in life as divine as sipping on a fresh Rauchbier in Bamberg. We can’t bring Bamberg to Melbourne, so the least we can do is bring the beer, using Australian indigenous wood-smoked barley malt. Smoky, warm, malty and inviting.
Long Beach Dreamsicle
Nordic Hazy IPA 6.8% 39 IBU
Inspired by Orange Creamsicles and the prolific Kveik fermentations of the Long Beach Beer Lab (USA). This IPA has big, juicy hop fruitiness with a solid, malty backbone and a refreshing grassy finish. Heavy doses of unmalted grains make this so smooth and creamy you might forget it’s a beer.
Isolation Sour Ale 5.4%
This year has been full of haze and uncertainty, so we thought you should at least enjoy your time at home while you go nowhere. A curiously aromatic sour ale, whirlpooled with Amarillo hops and dosed heavily with mango and passionfruit for its secondary fermentation. Confused yet? Good. Get used to it. If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s how to be resilient. Drink fresh and stay safe.

Strawberry Vanilla Kveik Hazy Pale 5.2%
A deliciously curated pairing of hoppy goodness and succulent strawberries, with a splash of vanilla to round it all off. Whirlpooled and dry hopped with Mosaic and Sultana (aka Denali/Exp 06277), with a smooth base of malted oats.
PEAR SHE GOSE
Pear & Ginger Hazy Sour Ale 5.3%
Just in time for the warm weather, this fruited sour beer breathes new life into the classic sour and salty German Gose style by cofermenting with a delectable combination of pears and ginger. With just a whisp of fleur de sel, the saltiness brings a whole new level of flavour, making this beer perfect for kicking back and relaxing.
American Barleywine 2019
Bold, Oaky, and Intense 9.9%
Aged 2 months in bourbon barrels; strong notes of oak, alcohol, vanilla and sweet red malts. This beer opens up a world of sensory experience to the drinker. Heavy alcohol without harshness, very fruity, very bitter. 2019 edition. Can be cellared for up to 5 years. Recommended to be enjoyed slowly in a snifter or cognac glass.

Boarding Pass Pilsner
Malty & Hoppy Bohemian-Style Lager 4.4%
A lager with firm bitterness and a honey-like malt base. The Pilsner originated in Pilsen (Czech Republic) and is arguably the most widely emulated beer style in the world. Most continental pale lagers are based on the original “Bohemian” style Pilsner.
Mid-strength Tropical Ale 3.5%
A mid-strength clean ale based on one of our original recipes. Blood orange puree and vanilla are added late in the fermentation. Pink/red color comes from a natural food dye based on sweet potato, blackcurrant and carrot. Well-balanced and highly refreshing.
Bold, Fruity, Bitter 6.1%
Uplifting tropical and stone fruit aromas, sweet malt and bitterness come together in unison to create this bold, hop-forward IPA. Fruity, piny, resinous and bitter.
Vienna-Style Lager 4.9%
A malt-forward, amber lager with a new-world German hop “Mandarina Bavaria” added late in the brewing. Hints of chocolate, toasted bread, and citrus. Warming, delicious and inviting

Our brewers take pride in selecting only the finest ingredients from around the world and where possible sourcing directly from the farm. We source our malts from all over the world, with each recipe uniquely crafted using carefully selected ingredients to reflect the brewer’s interpretation of a particular beer style. Beers with more pronounced caramel, toffee and nutty notes typically have a fair amount of British malts, where cleaner styles might feature classic German-grown and malted grains.
The primary source of bitterness and pungent fruity aromas in your glass, hops are a critical portion of what’s in your glass. Like our malt selection, our brewers like to use a wide variety of hops from around the globe. American, Australian and New Zealand hops will typically be found in beers with pronounced stone fruit and melon aromas, while German and British hops provide a more subtle, floral, and spicy character.
Innovations in brewing technology have enabled today’s brewers to have access to a wide variety of brewing yeast strains, in both dry and liquid form. Our brewers are able to recreate almost any contemporary – and historic – beer style by carefully selecting the right yeast strains and controlling fermentation conditions.
Melbourne water is typically very clean with low levels of calcium and hardness. Soft water is great for brewing with – after a 3-stage filtration, our brewers only have to minimally tweak the balance of the source water to ensure the right amount of calcium and other critical minerals are in perfect balance for each product. Much of our operational water is also recaptured and reused for brewing with again – helping to lower our impact on our environment.
